Adding colour and personality to a new build home
The owners of this Dorset new build had previously lived in a traditional cottage full of character where they felt confident how to decorate. Faced with straight walls and a light grey throughout the whole house they were at a loss of how to get their existing furniture to work and how to add their personality to their new home.
The scheme was designed with a touch of luxury and the surrounding countryside in mind; embracing dark greens, bright blues, airy whites, and light wood. Using harmonising colours and adding layers of texture have made the rooms feel fresh but inviting.
Taking inspiration from the clients love of quirky, humorous touches we added small, unexpected elements to make their home a true reflection of them.
